All about art at ERock

At Eden Rock – St Barths, art is everywhere. Each room contains a variety of pieces – sculpture, painting, photographs, drawings, objets d'art –intended to harmonise with both the decor and the spirit of the Rock. Not for nothing are we known as 'La Maison des Artistes'. Over the years, we have partnered with The New York Academy of Art and a number of well-known galleries, including Gagosian, Perrotin and Space Gallery, as well as local painters and sculptors. Artists featured include Richard Prince, Piotr Uklański, Dennis Hopper, Urs Fischer, Harmony Korine, Joe Bradley, Jonas Wood, Victor Matthews, Andrea Ferolla, Stuart Cantor and Thomas Cantoni.

Andrea Ferolla

“I try to capture the moment when the invisible becomes visible through a gesture or a glance, turning into a story in quick brushstrokes. I discovered Eden Rock years ago and instantly loved its vibe, history and Hollywood-Caribbean spirit.”

ERO-artist-Stuart-Cantor

Stuart Cantor

"I wanted to capture the natural beauty and allure of Eden Rock, the social epicentre of this magical island," comments Stuart Cantor, whose artistic lens takes viewers through spectacular vistas in St Barths, from pristine beaches and lush tropical hillsides to Eden Rock’s vibrant perch on St Jean Bay.

ERO-artist-Victor-Matthews

Victor Matthews

A painter and sculptor best known for his hauntingly evocative artworks exploring the mythos of American fantasies, Victor has been visiting the island for 30 years. He continues to be inspired by St Barths' light and energy.

ERO-artist-Sally-King

Sally King

“In the studio, I drift toward feelings of pleasure and happiness. I paint intuitively, letting the day’s rhythm shape my abstract forms, aiming to create balanced, inspiring compositions that elevate both a space and those who encounter them.”

ERO-artist-Daniel-Arsham

Daniel Arsham

American artist Daniel Arsham explores the idea of permanence. Surviving a 1992 Miami hurricane heightened his awareness of finitude, a theme central to his reproductions of objects marked by obsolescence.

ERO-Remy-De-Haenen

Rémy De Haenen

Born in Martinique, Rémy de Haenen grew up between there and St Barths, inspired by the islands’ diversity and colours. His works portray imagined scenes shaped by nature, memory and the contrast between childhood and adulthood.
