Le Bristol Paris loves Art. In this House where creativity, boldness, and beauty are celebrated every day, and where everything that delights the senses is wholeheartedly embraced, serving as a showcase for the greatest artists is simply natural.
Since the hotel opened in 1925, artworks have always been key elements of Le Bristol’s décor. It’s a close and unique relationship that continues to this day. But now, to engage in dialogue with the portrait of Marie-Antoinette or ancient bronzes, the Palace—fond of playing with eras—has chosen modern and contemporary art.
Art in the hotel
As soon as one steps into the lobby of Le Bristol Paris, its gaze is drawn to the works of painters, sculptors, cabinetmakers, and designers. Each generation of artisans has helped shape the soul of the Hotel, infusing its walls with timeless beauty. Art at Le Bristol was enhanced by recent collaborations with rare talents, boldly and respectfully reinterpreting the heritage of our Maison.

Le Bristol Paris has partnered with the digital art gallery laCollection to present an exhibition of digital artworks on the screen at Le Bristol’s Bar, every evening from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The first edition invited guests to discover the group exhibition Between Worlds, featuring international artists such as Benjamin Bardou, Clément Morin, and Ivona Tau.
Matthew Lutz-Kinoy
Matthew Lutz-Kinoy is a contemporary artist known for his sensitive and organic approach to ceramics. Inspired by Bernard Leach, a key figure in English pottery, he has created a series of plates blending abstract and figurative motifs. These pieces, now on display at Café Antonia, explore the cycles and repetitions of life through the circular form of the plate.
Jan Pauweld
From the seventh floor down to the ground level stands a shimmering sculpture by Belgian artist Jan Pauwels — a giant suspended chandelier adorned with hundreds of glowing bulbs, radiating light in all directions.
Studio Bjorg
Studio Bjorg is a Paris-based creative studio that explores a variety of disciplines, including scenography, interior architecture, floral design, and visual communication. Le Bristol Paris collaborates with the studio for the decoration of the hunting table that adorns the hotel’s lobby.
Art in the rooms
All 188 rooms and suites are unique, yet they share the same spirit: that of French refinement. Period furniture, noble materials, and soft tones come together to create a warm and elegant atmosphere.
George Condo
George Condo, an American painter, is renowned for his desire to modernize classical artistic styles. Influenced by masters such as Picasso, Arcimboldo, and Manet, he regularly stays in the Imperial Suite, where several of his works are on display.
Agnès Sandahl
A multidisciplinary artist, Agnès Sandahl has created a complete work within the Azur Suite, blending contemporary canvases with tableware art. Inspired by the atmosphere of the space, she combines painting, Chinese ink, and gold leaf to craft luminous and sensitive pieces, visible both inside and on the terrace. A subtle dialogue between the elements, where every detail reflects the nuances of living matter.
Dimitri Rybaltchenko
Artist Dimitri Rybaltchenko, best known for designing Hermès’ bestselling scarves, has created a spectacular 6-meter-long mural for the Honeymoon Suite — a tribute to the legendary love story of Psyche and Eros. The suite’s carpet echoes the theme of dreams, featuring a cloud motif designed by Rybaltchenko and crafted by Codimat.
Osanna Visconti
Osanna Visconti is a renowned Italian artist and designer. Her Bambou console, featured in the Eden Suite, is crafted in natural bronze using the traditional lost-wax casting technique. Each piece, handmade in Italy, evokes the garden, bringing its spirit into the suite’s universe.
De Gournay
The curtains by De Gournay are true collector’s pieces. Hand-painted in China on silk, they grace the Imperial Suite — both the bedroom and dining room — as well as the Epicure restaurant.
