Responsible consumption at Le Bristol Paris

Be Wtr
By incorporating BE WTR™ through AQTiV+ carafes in its restaurants and bottled options in its rooms, Le Bristol Paris achieves a significant ecological milestone by becoming the first palace to produce its own water.

Eliminating single-use plastic
Committed to reducing plastic, we've eliminated unnecessary packaging and opted for sustainable materials. We also provide reusable water bottles to our employees and have installed 17 water fountains to reduce plastic bottle waste.

Waste management
Collaborating with an on-site waste sorting provider six days a week, we ensure proper waste separation. Room and office bags are opened and sorted to avoid pre-sorting errors. Additionally, an employee recycling centre was established in 2023. We now sort over 15 waste types.

Responsible amenities
Reflecting our commitment to sustainability, we offer eco-friendly products in our rooms and spa. Bamboo combs, cornstarch shower caps, organic cotton and FSC-certified cork slippers, and vegan flip-flops are just a few examples of our environmental efforts.

Energy efficiency
Optimising energy, we're insulating our building and replacing equipment. We've switched to LED lighting and high-efficiency cooling systems. Additionally, we use underground water for cooling and heat recovery from technical installations to heat our pool.

Reasonable use of water
When you stay with us, your sheets and towels are changed every two days by default. If you don't want this, you can let us know by placing a sign on your bed. This action, however trivial it may seem, results in significant water and energy savings. In the same spirit of rational consumption, we favour water-saving equipment and have chosen drip irrigation for our garden.

Natural treatments at Spa Le Bristol by La Mer
Tata Harper, a high-end brand of all-natural cosmetics, is now featured in one of our cabins. To enhance your healthy beauty ritual, we also offer Kure Bazaar nail polishes, which are free of petrochemicals and up to 90% bio-sourced, as well as Lazartigue hair care products, made with natural and vegan ingredients.

Living garden
Le Bristol Paris's garden is a Parisian oasis of sustainable gardening. With native plants and chemical-free practices, it supports biodiversity and provides a serene setting.

Le Bristol Paris beehives
On the roof of the palace, six hives house bees that produce a delicious honey. In 2022, this golden nectar was awarded two gold medals at the honey competition of Île-de-France, in the "liquid spring" and "liquid summer" categories. It was also awarded the "Fabriqué à Paris" (Made in Paris) label.
