Conservation efforts
Food & Beverage
Sourcing local and seasonal produce, meats and seafoods from neighboring farms, growers and markets is the core of our sustainability program. We convert food waste on-site into compost for local farms; and break glass safely down into sand to enhance local pathways and add to cement mix.
Creating a Better Community
The Vineta and its hoteliers have partnered with several local organizations to engage the Palm Beach community, creating greater exposure and support for their missions.
Celebrating the Sea Turtles!
Sea turtle nesting season is March 1 – November 1, when there will be over two million hatchlings on the sands of Palm Beach County. By guiding visitors on beach walks to experience hatchling dig-outs, we can help support the beauty and conservation of our longest seasonal guests.
Certification
Prior to opening we will partner with Green Keys or Green Globe to guide us through our sustainability process and help ensure we are exceeding their requirements and the pristine standards of Oetker Hotels.
Giving Bag
To repurpose and give new life to lost and found items throughout the hotel, the Giving Bag program collects left behind guest items and donations, plus optimizes the on-site lost and found disposal process by distributing items to local charities - an initiative welcomed by our guests.
