Meet the culinary masters
behind our kitchens
At the heart of our hotel’s gastronomic excellence are chefs whose journeys and passions shape every dish. From the refined elegance of French cuisine to bold modern interpretations, each chef brings a unique story and signature style.

Where the French tradition meets modern influences
It was not only the first steps in life, but also the first steps in his career that Munich-born Sebastian Haverkemper took in the beautiful metropolis. Starting at the Mandarin Oriental, he moved on to renowned properties such as the Hotel Sacher and Schloss Elmau. Now he has found himself at the gateway to the Black Forest - in the beautiful town of Baden-Baden, at Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa. His French inspired cooking style is based on a great love for regional fine produce prepared with modern influences; while his meticulous culinary signature is visible in all the kitchens at Brenners, where he is in charge as Executive Chef.

Stefan Naatz
"After I finished my career in the German Armed Forces in 2009, I wanted to learn how to cook, since I only ate convenience foods during the time I was in the service. For me, cooking means bringing a smile to my guests' faces through my dishes."

Chef de Pâtisserie
David Becker is our Head Pastry Chef who, amongst other responsibilities, is in charge of producing Brenners' exquisite afternoon tea every day.
