Local legend chef Gennaro Esposito has built his reputation in the region, across Italy and beyond thanks to his two-Michelin-starred restaurant, Torre del Saracino, located in his hometown of Vico Equense on the Gulf of Naples. After successive career-defining mentorships under chefs Gianfranco Vissani and Alain Ducasse, a 22-year-old Esposito decided to return home and open his own restaurant in 1992. Known for his avant-garde approach to Italian cuisine, Chef Esposito’s impeccably high standards, his love of the finest, freshest ingredients and his desire to delight can be savoured in every dish that leaves his multiple kitchens at Hotel La Palma.
